VAN HOOK LOCKS
Hooklocks are the next generation of van security deadlocks. They work in the same way as straight deadlocks but a hook style bolt is thrown and hooks into a receiving bracket, as opposed to a bolt, offering next level security.
By hooking over, in addition to throwing into, Hooklocks can offer a higher level of security making it harder to force open and potentially gain access to your vehicle.
The Hooklocks have been specifically designed and tested to be the strongest on the market. With a completed pull test with the lock not failing following testing of 500GK (5.0KN) we’re confident they won’t let you down.

VAN DEADLOCKS
Deadlocks are a very common and popular security upgrade available for just about every van and their respective doors available in the UK marketplace. We have a large and comprehensive range of Van Deadlocks available for virtually all van makes and models available in the UK.
Deadlocks are an additional mechanical method of adding much needed additional security to your van. Fitted to the van door and connecting body panel, Deadlocks work by throwing a bolt into a receiving bracket fitted to the van’s internal bodywork and operated by an external key, creating an additional secure locking point to the vehicle door. These additional locking points are designed and placed in the best possible location on the door to help protect against van specific attacks.
With our aftermarket Deadlock being an additional locking point to the van, the cylinder on show acts as a visual deterrent as well as the lock itself acting as physical security. The cylinder is fronted by a high-quality black plastic escutcheon which has been UV treated/stabilised.
SLAM LOCKS
After Deadlocks, Van Slamlocks are the next most common type of additional locks fitted to vans. We have a comprehensive range available for virtually all van makes and models available in the UK.
Slamlocks do exactly that. When the van door is shut, they lock automatically without the need for any user interaction. Due to this type of operation, its ideally suited for:
multi-drop delivery drivers
drivers of vans who have high-value goods within where locking is essential every time
owner-drivers who forget to lock the van or want peace of mind knowing it has been locked every time
Van Slamlocks work by de-activating the van’s factory fitted door handle and installing an additional surface mounted lock to the van door. To open the van door, you have to turn the key which now acts in place of the door handle. On closing the door, locking takes place automatically so ensure that you do not leave your keys inside the van!
Slamlocks allow the opening of doors independently meaning if you want access to your van’s side door, for example, unlocking it with the key will not unlock the rear door allowing easy access for opportunist thieves.

FORD REPLACEMENT LOCK
Both of these standard manufacturer’s locks are well documented as being extremely vulnerable to attack. The Transit & Transit Custom driver’s door locks are prone to being picked and the cylinder easy to turn (“grip and spin attack”) which unlocks the mechanism to allow quick easy access to cab areas of the vehicle. From here thieves can unlock the load area to allow the theft of any contents within. The Ford Replacement Locks protect the vans from both of these common methods of attack.
As a direct replacement for the manufacturer’s lock on both the Transit and the Transit Custom, no additional drilling is required. Just like all of our additional locks these too can be keyed alike to match other locks fitted to load area or passenger door, meaning only one key is needed for all locks on the vehicle
